SYSTEMS ANALYSIS OF HUMAN SPORTS ACTIVITY ON A TREADMILL WITH INCREASING INTENSITY OF EXERCISES

Objective: a systems analysis of human sports activity on a treadmill with gradually increase in exercise intensity.
Materials and Methods: the study involved 14 healthy male volunteers aged from 19 to 32 years. Each of them was asked to perform a treadmill test (Bruce’s protocol). The methodological basis of the systems analysis was the concept of the systemic quantization of behavior. In accordance with it one systemoquantum of a sports activity is a full accomplishment of all 9 steps of treadmill test. The endpoint of systemoquantum was to perform physical work at all stages of the test, but the interim result was to perform physical work at each separate stage. At the same time the power load values of each stage were defined as the parameters of interim results. The level of initial motivation to the sport activity was evaluated before the test. Electrocardiogram and blood pressure were measured at each stage of test.
Results: it was shown that subject pays a «physiological price» for every interim result achieved. A positive correlation between the parameter of interim result and subject’s «physiological price» was found. It was shown that each stage of systemoquantum was characterized by various systems organization of functions. It was shown that the initial level of motivation determines the «physiological price» of the endpoint of systemoquantum.
Conclusions: using the systemic quantization conception it was shown that the parameters of sports results are associated with their «physiological price», and a «physiological price» was determined by subject’s initial level of motivation and physical work capacity.
