The ways to diminish the number of children heart deaths in Russia are discussed in this literature review. The review begins with the discussion of cases of sudden heart deaths of prominent sportsmen. The focus is on the sudden cardiac death/acute coronary flow failure, though the problem of acute ischemic heart disease is discussed in general. Regular Holter monitoring with noninvasive blood pressure measurement and noninvasive intracranial pressure measurement, whose techniques are to be developed, is proposed.
