Modern sport requires ever-increasing stress of physical and mental abilities of man. Imbalance of exercise and rest, stress - recovery no restored and can lead to a state of overtraining. Often the first symptoms of fatigue athletes are decreased performance and changes in the emotional sphere. To get a complete picture about the state of the athlete needs to know to what extent and what areas of life is most pronounced stress and how recovery proceeds. The article considers the place of psychological techniques in the assessment of the state of stress and recovery in athletes.
