PERINEAL MUSCLE TRAINING IN REHABILITATION TREATMENT OF CHRONIC POSTATITIS PATIENTS WITH HIDDEN NEUROGENIC URINATION DISORDERS

T. G. MARKOSYAN, N. B. KORCHAGHKINA, S. S. NIKITIN, A. V. BODROV
The results of the examination and treatment of 105 patients with chronic prostatitis and 25 healthy volunteers. In the complex treatment of patients included electromyography of the perineum muscles. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment was performed needle electromyography of the pelvic floor muscles. In the control group units muscle action potentials (MUP) are simple three-phase fluctuations, the average amplitude of 0,36±0,15 mV, duration 5,6±1,3 ms poliphasia 5%, the latency of the cortical and segmental motor response time (cLMR, sLMR) 40,8±1,4 and 22,8±1,2 ms, the central motor response (CMR) – 19,6±1,4 ms. In patients with chronic prostatitis revealed the hidden signs of denervation and reinnervation of the pelvic floor - increasing the duration and amplitude of the PDE 30% poliphasia - 15%, the elongation cLMR, sLMR of more than 10%, CMR by 20%. After treatment EMG indicators crotch recovered to the level of healthy subjects and remained so for six months. Thus, identified denervation of the pelvic floor muscle changes must be considered in the overall evaluation of patients with chronic prostatitis. The effectiveness of pelvic floor muscle training in the treatment of prostatitis patients confirmed both clinical and neurophysiological studies..
